These are inexpensive but they are cute. I bought them in the black velvet. I was really unsure about the width at the top, healthy calf and such, but the seller SHOE19 was really cool and emailed me details that made me comfortable buying them, (I hate returning stuff. What a pain!)
For the $$$ they'll be fun to wear. Higher over the knee and lower in the back will make it easier to walk and my yoga pants tucked inside well because of the half zipper at the bottom, also makes them easy to get off. I'm horrible, I know but oversized sweaters, yoga/stretch pants and boots are my winter go to's. Betsey Johnson makes a fleece lined legging that is so warm in the winter. I live in Wyoming so it's a deal. I'm used to wearing heals, I think I was born in them or at least my mom was wearing them on that fate filled day...so the heel is a regular height for me.
I'm not tooo crazy about them so I won't buy multi colors but here again, for the $$$ they are cute and SHOE19 is awesome.

I ordered these a half size larger than my regular shoe size based on some of the reviews I had read. However, these were too large and I will be exchanging them for my true size - 7.5 - so hopefully those ones fit better. The blue denim boots look a little like blue suede in the pictures, but they truly are blue denim in real life.
Update (January 14, 2012): After exchanging the boots for a 7.5, I realized they were still kind of big for my feet. The zipper on the left boot was also defective, so I will be sending them back for one final exchange in a size 7. If they still do not live up to my expectations, I'll give up. I still think the boots are adorable, but I might like to put something on the inner sole of the boot to make them a bit more comfortable.

I read all the reviews before buying. I absolutely love them. They feel so comfortable I could go all day in them. They look great with jeans, dresses, skirts and my batgirl halloween costume. Good buy!!!
