She wanted red shoes, so I chose these (among others).
The platform is somewhat taller than it looks like in the photos, so you're gonna be really tall. The heel is very spikey and the color is really bright, but on the magenta side of red. If she can wear these, she's going to look like a million bucks.
She hasn't tried them on yet so I cannot say about sizing.
Now on to my rant about comfort: People say heels are uncomfortable and bad for your feet. I say (unless you wear them 24/7) they don't have to be. Shoe makers need to pay more attention to comfort - it doesn't take much thought, planning or cost to put good padding in the shoe - 1/8 inch of good quality pad under the ball of the foot makes a world of difference. If they did this more girls would wear nice heels more, and everyone would be happy. Write your congressman (or congresswoman) - or really, your fav shoe companies.
